Where can I use The Cord Wrapper?

The Cord Wrapper can be used practically anywhere you have cords. It can be a kitchen cord organizer, desk cable organizer, a bathroom for hair appliances, or even an electronics cable organizer. The Cord Wrapper is a great solution for wrapping up cords and keeping them out of the way.

Is The Cord Wrapper Heat Resistant?

The Cord Wrapper and the adhesive are heat resistant up to 220° Fahrenheit and can be safely used on appliances such as slow cookers. If the surface is extremely hot (back of a toaster oven) it won't stay.

Can I remove & reuse The Cord Wrapper?

The Cord Wrapper comes with an adhesive attached to it that was designed and tested for long term strength and durability. Because of its durability, it is designed as a one-time-use application. However, if you do need to remove it, it will come off with some effort and if any residue is left from the adhesive it can be removed with rubbing alcohol. Always refer to the appliance owner's manual/warranty for surface care and recommendations. We do offer a Replacement Adhesive if you decide to remove it and would like to reuse it, however, we do not guarantee it working properly the second time around with the Replacement Adhesive.

How big is The Cord Wrapper?

It is about 3” in diameter and 1.5” tall.  Picture it about the size of your favorite cake donut. Big enough to store 5 feet of cord but small enough to stay inconspicuous.

How much cord can fit in The Cord Wrapper?

It will comfortably fit 5 feet of cord for any common home appliance — mixers, blenders, toaster, hairdryer, hair straightener, etc. 

My Cord Wrapper is dirty, what is safe to use to clean it?

We recommend simply using a damp cloth to wipe it down. Due to the surface and material, no cleaners should be needed. If you use a cleaner, test it in an inconspicuous area for surface damage first.

Will it damage my appliance?

We cannot guarantee every appliance and surface is safe for application. However, we do not recommend using on surfaces that have the tendency to peel, like a wall with paint or wallpaper. Most appliances are safe to use on if they are painted with electrostatic paint or a metal surface. Be sure to read the owner's manual/warranty included with your appliance for recommendations or warnings in regard to sticking things to the surface of the appliance.

Will it damage the cord?

Cords are most commonly damaged from the kinking of the cord, not from wrapping. The method of storing the cord with The Cord Wrapper is similar to that of a retractable vacuum cord reel, simply wrapping/winding up in a circular motion which does not kink the cord. Always refer to the manufacturer warnings and information in regard to preventing damage to the cord.

When should I expect my Cord Wrapper?
